Interior Residential Painting

Painting can be overwhelming.  Dogwood Painting's professional staff will spend as much time with you as necessary to help you understand the options available and to help you make the right choice for your home and your family.  We also understand the need for a clean environment, after all this is your home.  We have larger crews to insure we complete the job as quickly as possible to let you get back to normal.  Our goal is to make sure you are happy with all aspects of your experience with Dogwood Painting.

Moving Furniture:
Dogwood Painting will move all furniture to the center of the room and cover it with plastic for protection. We will move furniture out of the room if necessary and return it when the job is  complete.

Protecting Flooring:
Dogwood Painting will protect flooring with rosin paper, plastic, or drop cloths.

Surface Preperation:
It is Dogwood Painting's standard procedure to fill nail holes from pictures, artwork, etc. If you would not like these holes to be filled, please let us know. Also, minor sheetrock imperfections will be filled and sanded. These items will be repaired as standard procedure. Major sheetrock work can be performed by Dogwood Painting but will be considered additional work and will incur additional costs.

Paint Sheen/Color:
Estimate are given  based on the use of white-based flat colors for walls and ceilings and white-based semi-gloss colors for trim.  If a mid-tone or deep-based color is chosen and/or a higher sheen finish than semi-gloss is requested for trim work, there could be additional costs as darker colors and higher sheens usually require more material and more time to apply.

Imperfections in ceilings, walls, and trim become more visible as the color gets deeper and the sheen gets higher.

Materials:
We use only the highest quality paint and materials from Duron, Porter or Sherwin Williams.  The use of different manufacturer's paint or materials may incur additional costs.
